7月2日讯据阿根廷跟队记者Gastón Edul透露，阿根廷队周三才能决定梅西是否首发出战美洲杯1/4决赛。

北京时间7月5日上午，阿根廷将在美洲杯1/4决赛中对阵厄瓜多尔，有伤在身的梅西能否首发出战，成为媒体和球迷关注的问题。

Gastón Edul指出，梅西参加了部分训练，同时也在进行运动学训练，他正在恢复之中。阿根廷队要等到周三才能决定梅西首发还是下半场替补出场，但他会参加对阵厄瓜多尔的比赛。
