06月30日讯 ESPN消息，南美足联证实美国队前锋小维阿因染红，被追加停赛1场罚款3000美元。

美洲杯小组赛第二轮美国1-2巴拿马，第16分钟，小维阿与对手后卫有些接触，维阿直接背后拳击对手，主裁判看VAR后取消黄牌将小维阿直红罚下。

小维阿原本将因红牌自动停赛1场，缺席小组赛末轮对阵乌拉圭的关键战。在南美足协追加停赛一场后，意味着若美国队能晋级淘汰赛，小维阿将继续缺席。
